Educational Therapy
for Dyslexia
ABOUT
Kidworks Orton-Gillingham Educational Therapy was created by Teresa Kennedy, Certified Orton-Gillingham Remedial Therapist, Bachelor of Arts, University of Victoria, B.C., to assist students who are struggling to learn to read, spell and write.
Teresa is the parent of a child with a language-based learning disability and knows firsthand, how difficult learning in a classroom environment can be for some students.
Trying to maintain self-esteem, confidence, and a positive attitude while experiencing these difficulties can cause a considerable effect on a child’s well-being and opportunity for a successful academic future.
Teresa is a member of the International Dyslexia Association and Ontario IDA. Work experience includes Kenneth Gordon School, for Language-Based Learning Difficulties in Burnaby, B.C., and the Innovative Learning Center at Southpointe Academy in Tsawwassen, B.C.
Letters of recommendation and Criminal Records Check are also available for viewing.

"Lately, I have been hearing a lovely sound coming from my daughter's room - Jane is reading to her little sister! Thank you for getting her so far!"
